Since launching in July 2017, there have been so many OMG moments.
I know that’s not the most eloquent way of describing things, but “OMG, I can’t believe it!” seems to be what comes out of my mouth whenever I’m a bit shocked by something.
Take for example, our launch. Although we had over 300 of you on our VIP list, we chose not to take pre-orders. This meant that in the lead up to launching, we had idea how much – or how little – product we needed.
It really was a case of guessing how many bottles of face oil Scott should blend and how many boxes, bags, cards, express post packs etc I should order.
After much discussion, we went with what we thought would be a month’s worth of everything.
By 2pm on launch day, that month’s worth of everything was almost sold out.
It was a frantic day. There was no time to think about anything except, “We need to get these orders out!” and “Do we have enough boxes?!”
But once the post office run was done I remember sitting on the couch, replying to the emails, comments and messages that had come flying in thick and fast throughout the day – all of which were full of such incredibly supportive words – and saying “OMG, I can’t believe it” repeatedly
Then everyone’s beautiful photos started flooding our Instagram and Facebook feeds.
Again, “OMG, I can’t believe it” was all Scott heard from me every time I scrolled through my phone.
The love and support for our products was – and still is – incredibly overwhelming.
I still can’t believe it whenever I see a photo of our face oil or body oil in your bathroom.
I still can’t believe it whenever I read your beautiful comments about the products.
So when I was asked if I would like to be interviewed by the talented journalists at Brisbane News, well I’m guessing you already know what my first thought was!
