Suffering from dry cracked lips?

Say hello to Betty Balm! The latest product to hit the bettyquette shelves and your new favourite, deeply moisturising lip balm.

What is betty balm?

It’s an all natural lip balm, made from the following five lip loving ingredients to ensure ultimate nourishment and a long lasting moisture barrier for your smoothest lips yet:

  • Coconut Oil – the moisture locking marvel.  A natural emollient, coconut oil protects the lips by locking moisture in and keeping the effects of  wind, air conditioning and heating out.

  • Carbauba Wax – the quick absorbing wonder wax. Packed with fatty acids, this quick absorbing natural emollient soothes chapped lips quicker than you can say, “This feels AMAZING on my lips”

  • Jojoba Oil – the lip loving over achiever.  Rich in fatty acids, Jojoba oil provides superior lip hydration while protecting them from dry, indoor heat, the wind and cold temperatures.

  • Cetearyl Alcohol – the skin soothing superhero.  Don’t be put off by the word ‘alcohol’ because this one’s a rich and creamy fatty alcohol. Derived from the fatty acids found in coconut oil, it soothes and smoothes lips beautifully.

  • Cocoa Seed Butter – the protective powerhouse.  Smooth and creamy, this rich natural powerhouse protects skin from the harmful elements by forming a protective lip barrier.

giving back

Not only will Betty Balm help your lips, your purchase will also help remote and rural families devastated by drought and subsequent floods with $1 from every Betty Balm purchased through our website being donated to Sisters of the North.

I met one of the founders of Sisters of the North  during my recent visit to Mt Isa.

When I returned to Brisbane, I knew I wanted to help drought and flood affected families in Queensland, but wasn’t sure how.

It was when we were in the process of trialing our lip balm that I came up with the idea of donating $1 from every Betty Balm sold to Sisters of the North.

Sisters of the North is the brainchild of a group of rural Australian women who want to encourage connection, community and empowerment as a means of developing resilience against any adversity potentially experienced.

With the unprecedented and devastating floods in North West Queensland,  their fundraising efforts are currently focused on those affected in the Richmond, Cloncurry, Julia Creek, Winton and Normanton Shires, where many of our lovely customers live.

Bettyquette® is proud to be associated with such a wonderful charity and we thank you, our fabulous community of customers, for helping us support such a worthwhile cause.

Did you make a Betty Balm purchase when they went on sale last week?

Do you live in a rural or remote part of Australia?

Is there a product you’d like to see us make for you next?

Let’s discuss all the things!
